UPS uses two wiring methods
ACC disconnects the battery The output and input power cables of the shipped UPS have been made with corresponding aviation plugs. The output is directly plugged into the power port of the MDVR device, and the input port is plugged into the matching aviation plug power cable. The other three positive and negative poles and the ACC line are connected to the positive and negative poles of the vehicle battery and the ACC line. ** Refer to wiring diagram 1 for wiring** In this way, after ACC is turned off, the UPS battery powers the MDVR. When the UPS voltage is lower than the battery voltage, The battery will start to power the MDVR (parallel principle). **Note that this method may cause the vehicle to fail to start due to exhaustion of battery power. You need to calculate the MDVR power consumption to configure the ACC delay time to avoid this. Refer to the following UPS charge and discharge time calculation method **
ACC disconnection does not consume battery power
The output and input power cords of the shipped UPS have been prepared with corresponding aviation plugs. The output is directly plugged into the power port of the MDVR device. Cut off the aviation plug at the input port to find the positive and negative poles and the ACC line
Connect the positive pole and ACC to the battery ACC line. Do not connect the positive pole of the battery, and the negative pole to the negative pole. Refer to wiring diagram 2 and UPS aviation plug definition In this way, after ACC is turned off, the UPS battery will power the MDVR until it is exhausted, and will not consume battery power.
Calculation method for UPS charge and discharge time
Discharge: UPS watt-hour (wh) ➗MDVR watt-hour (wh) = discharge time (MDVR power supply time) Example: The capacity of this UPS battery is 44wh. When the maximum power consumption of M32HV MDVR is 18wh, the UPS power supply time is: 44Wh/18Wh=2.44h Extension: Energy (WH) = current (A) × voltage (V) × time (h) Charge: Charge according to the limit of 1.5A, without considering the case of powering MDVR at the same time (if calculation is required, subtract the power supply current to MDVR, which is just a rough calculation of the approximate value, and the actual value is affected by some factors such as current offset and direction fluctuation) Charging time (h) = battery capacity (Ah) / charging current (A) That is, the charging time is 2=3Ah➗1.5A, considering that the actual charging is a curve to trickle charging, the approximate time for full charge is ≤ 2.5h
UPS input and output charge and discharge switching instructions
When the battery input to the UPS is lower than 9V, switch the UPS to power the MDVR, power supply voltage: 12-16.5V When the battery input to the UPS is higher than 9V, switch the battery to power the MDVR, the power supply voltage varies with the battery input size, and the UPS is charged at the same time.

2. Test
When the vehicle is started after the connection, pull the key to the ACC position to disconnect the ACC connection, check whether the MDVR shows that the ACC is disconnected and enters the shutdown countdown, at this time the UPS starts working.
