- The application scenario of the peripheral navigation screen is to register the device on a private or other platform, and the platform sends the destination coordinates to the device through text messages. The device forwards it to the navigation screen, and the navigation screen automatically executes the navigation function after receiving the coordinates. Therefore, the device needs to go online on the platform and get the destination coordinates (geographic coordinates pickup)

Operation steps

Remote control to enter menu>>Settings>>Serial port settings>>Serial port, serial port index configuration RS232, serial port function navigation screen 1, other parameters are default, confirm to save and restart the device to take effect.
3. Test
3.1 Open the map manufacturer address reverse query function on the computer browser, that is, query the corresponding coordinates through the geographical location name. For example, visit the following address, enter the navigation location information, query the coordinate information, and copy it out epsg.io-map
3.2 Open the client, select the device for sending text messages, right-click to find the column for sending text messages, click Open, paste the copied coordinate parameters into the column for sending text messages, and click Send. After receiving the command, the device forwards it to the navigation screen, and the navigation screen will start to execute navigation according to the sent positioning coordinates, accompanied by a voice prompt. Send commands such as: 116.403694,39.915378, Tiananmen Square, recommended. The contents of the information sent are: coordinates, coordinate location name, recommended (see the figure below for details)
3.3 After sending the command successfully, the built-in Daodaotong navigation software of the navigation screen will pop up automatically, automatically plan the route of the starting point and the end point, and automatically execute navigation after 10 seconds by default. When executing navigation, it is necessary to ensure that the MDVR GPS positioning is normal so that the navigation screen can execute navigation normally.
