Necessary instructions
- The RS232 485 protocol conversion box is a serial port protocol conversion tool customized by our company. It is convenient for expansion when the device protocol is not enough or different to connect to the peripherals. Here, the 485 temperature sensor peripheral is connected to the device 232 protocol as an example.
- The 5/12V power supply on the 232 protocol end of the conversion box is connected to the power supply to power the box. When the peripheral is connected, the power supply is directly connected to the 12or5V line of the device IO harness according to the peripheral power supply. Actual image:

Operation steps
1. Wiring

2. Device menu configuration
Remote control enters menu>>Settings>>Serial port settings>>Serial port, serial port index configuration RS232, serial port function temperature sensor, protocol type type1, baud rate 9600, other parameters default, confirm save and restart the device to take effect.
3. Test
After restarting, press the remote control direction key to go to the serial port status to check whether it is connected and display the current ambient temperature
